Hearth and Home: Inspiration for Christian Girls

Girls today live in an environment that despises women: disparaging family, forbidding obedience, and glorifying a false version of what it means to be a woman. Good books for girls are very hard to come by, but we are still looking, and will post more as we find them.

Understood Betsy, by Dorthy Canfield

Understood Betsy is a marvelous story of family loyalty and love; of growing up and forming relationships. One of my childrens' favorites, we hope you will love it too.

Heidi is a marvelous story of friendship; an entire variety of friendships; as well as a wonderful story about a very beautiful place.
